well if spurs get Marv and Scot lets hope they loan them back for the rest of the season! Dont like the idea of being spurs feeder club:( Would make more sense being arsenals feeder club.......at least its just a hop over the fence at London Colney.

I agree completely, I actually think the lad has something, but time and time again he's not used in the right way i.e up front alone, I always said that its says a lot that the two teams we've loaned him out too recently were QPR and Swansea and although he didn't pull up many tress when he was there, it atleast shows that the 'footballing' teams can appreciate that he is a talented technical player. Maybe it's just English football isn't for him but given a run of games in a settled side (something we haven't had in a while) he could really hit his stride and be a great player in this division, as he undoubtedly has a lot of talent

If you look at his record in Hungarian football, which isn't exactly the strongest league in Europe, it's 24 goals in 67 games over 4 seasons.

Apparently Derby have got him until the end of the season when he’s OUT OF CONTRACT!!!

And here’s me thinking Keano signed him up to an everlasting deal. That’s what it seems like anyway!

It takes me right back to those first disastrous, harbingers-of-doom Keano activities in the transfer market: Priskin 1.7M; Martin 1.7M (another everlasting contract); Delaney 1.7M as a full back where he was worse than useless but luckily turned out to be a centre back who was half-decent in one game in two or three.

Then, when Keano realised you should really scout players before you blow over 5M, he panic bought and loaned on the last day of the transfr window whoever was available for another 3M. They were largely cack as well!

    ME must be so pleased.

    I rather miss it!

Mind you, Keane’s defences may have been leakey when staffed by youngsters Smith and Eastman (usually out of position) with Tory Brown in for whoever was injured this week out of McAuley and Delaney, but they were still a world beating defence next to the Keystone Kops PJ is managing to organise most weeks.

agree 100%. If you play true passing and attacking football at pace then I would want him in the team.

There's no doubt, under the right circumstances, he can play. The trouble is there are very few teams who play his way, and you can't change a whole team and the systems they play just for TP. I feel sorry for him in a way, he's a talent that can only shine when things are set up right. Though how he is caught offside so often, who can ever know!

The trouble is itfcptc that most of us feel the same about Tamas - he had tremendous potential but his attitude has stopped him ever really realising it. As others have said he needs the team to bend to him rather than him adjusting his play to fit in. For pacey, passing attacking managers like Brendan Rodgers it did not matter as he was what he needed - also when playing Premier opposition he seemed to do better as you have more time on the ball - also that is why he has done moderately well at International level. But I fear he is doomed to be a Championship "might have been"

Maybe so - but perhaps two attitudes in the one team will be too much for Cloughie!

He is indeed a bit of an enigma. On the one hand you have the striker who is constantly offside, never looks like hes giving 100%, seems genuinely like he can't fit, and is therefore mocked by fans of teams he used to play for. On the other hand, there is the Priskin who played under Rodger at both Watford and Swansea, where the high-tempo, short-pacing game seemed to suit him. In particular I remember under Rodger that him and Rasiak had a really good partnership.

To be honest, I don't think it will work out well, but its only a short-term loan. Good luck to the fella none-the-less, would be nice to sing 'same old Priskin, always offside' should he actually start a game for someone1
