Agreed Gaffer. I personally believe the club is poorly run (although we are improving on the PR side) and that McCarthy should not be offered a new contract extension in the summer. Despite these opinions, I will never wish for an Ipswich Town defeat and I will always celebrate a victory, no matter the manner of the win. If you glance over at the TWTD forum, there are a number of 'supporters' there that hate it when we win and will wish for us to suffer defeat on a regular basis and to see us struggle, simply to validate their opinions regarding Mick McCarthy, the board, and/or members of the playing staff. That isn't supporting your football club, it's called narcissism.
Agreed Nuggets, I hated the Keane and Jewel eras but I still travelled to the backside of the Country in all weather's ( Scunthorpe in the snow etc ) and never wanted us to lose even if it might hasten a change of manager, they come and go but the real obstacle to progress is the owner.
