    My first half thoughts
We are not playing our aggressive pressing game today, you can see that we are falling back in to shape when we lose the ball, it's stifling Derby and working so far.
Since the goal, Bart has been pissing the home fans off by time wasting every time he has the ball, kind of embarrassing actually.
Derby are earning more corners and free kicks by committing people forward and forcing fouls and clearances.
We are trying to play some football at times but there are still plenty of hopeful punts.
We have needlessly lost possession by putting the ball out with stray passes at least 10 times. Derby maybe once or twice

Well about 90% of us didn't predict that, great result and a clean sheet! Connolly at centre midfield looks more like an inspired choice after every match and encouraging to see Spence and Huws back in the first team and also Downes and Nydam playing a role in a rare victory against a pre-match favourite!

We were lucky today, Derby could've scored a bunch in that second half.

I can't remember us having a clear cut opportunity.
Bart made some great saves but costs us possession with his kicking. Doesn't help that all the long balls from him and Chambers were aimed at Waghorn who prefers to take the ball from the air with his toe than a chest trap. Derby CB's won them all.
We are weak attacking down the right. Ward can't do the thing most needed for a winger, beat a man. Spence doesn't overlap like Knudsen does.
Waghorn was all over the place but he's not a lone frontman.

Defensively we got it right today but we lost all our attacking threat when Cellina and Huws went off.

I'm guessing most people listened to it judging by the comments

I honestly thought we'd get mullered tonight, but as I also pointed out, we always pull out one shock of the year. Hopefully there are more shocks to come.
Well done town..beat florist on Saturday and we could be in touching distance of the place offs again...what a weird season, and what a weird league

Interestingly I listened to a lot of the game on Radio Derby and they were surprisingly complimentary about us. They thought we looked a strong and capable side who put in a classic away performance, but moved it around well when we could (first half mainly). For all their possession and territory they didn't really pepper the goal (a criticism they had for the Derby side). Though they clearly could (and perhaps should) have got something from the game.

They also mentioned Ward as someone who was playing well and that Waghorn's work rate was phenomenal. Strange how they seemed willing to put a positive spin on our performance which we perhaps wouldn't use ourselves.

What I find interesting and maybe something for us to think about, is that every commentator mentioned here and on TWTD Radio Derby, Sky Sports, etc were complimentary and impressed about our performance. Lets be grateful for small things, and I for one am a happier Townie. It wont change my views on management and Club changes.

First of all, Spanish, credit where its due - did you write that or did someone hack your account !??! :)

    GET IN! Great win!

Update this end - the agents made a GREAT first impression with me and lied about age I'll be teaching. I was in discussions ( feel like a pro footy player here ! ) with about 9 agencies and specifically asked for 4-7 year olds. My logic = very basic and can't go too far wrong!

The f***ers have decided to give me HALF of the teaching time that, and the other part 14-17 year olds! Jesus, that's just an absolute non-starter. They also haven't provided me a bed yet which is due to arrive ' ANY DAY ' - just brings back the bad memories of Thailand. Teaching was fun over there but I was getting s*** on in a daily instance. So I will be out of here ASAP. Perhaps try another school,,,, or just go travelling with partner etc..... we'll see :)

Next problem to go with my list yesterday, was I couldn't withdraw a single cent all day / didn't have an adapter for my laptop so I was in a right mess and about as stressed as I've been for a while. Picture the Bittersweet Symphony video, that dude was kinda me and while not a fighter remotely - I honestly think if someone had barged into me yesterday or looked at me in the vile way they often did in Malaysia I would have smacked anyone very hard in the face. Wouldn't have achieved a thing it was just one of those days!

Today = the plan is to destress, chill, get myself into a far better state of mind and work out the next step in this interesting scenario I have currently got myself into.
