I personally think there is something seriously wrong with you if you DONT suffer from anxiety and depression.
Try not to focus on the problem, try and learn to push it to one side, or even ignore it. Find other stuff to focus on, side track yourself, find a new hobby/pastime or rekindle an old one, write down the things that make you smile or laugh and do them as long as its not forced sex or murder etc. Speak to other people who have suffered and learned to live happily with their condition. It never goes away, you just learn to manage it so it becomes as insignificant as a wart on your ringpiece. You know its there but you find that no one can see it, and only bad **** makes you aware of it.
Don't kill yourself as that usually voids the insurance. Get someone else to do it.

There's loads of nutters out there ......

Good advice, apart from the 'kill yourself' bit. That's just vile and unwarranted, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I would have thought not taking your meds would be a good thing, wouldn't it, unless not taking them has a detrimental effect on you. I thought the idea is to get you off them as soon as possible and in the mean time learn and discover other techniques to manage anxiety.

Your hobbies even though intense could still be good for you, if you enjoy them the chances are you will relax and throw yourself into them even more. Its all about distracting yourself in a positive way from any anxiety. When you learn what your triggers are (maybe you have an idea already) you can then work out how you are able to change your thought processes, when they appear.

Are you an idiot with no sense of humour? Did you notice I followed that with "There's loads of nutters out there"
Do you not understand the irony in that?

    how does it go?

    "whoosh!"

I half thought that but then his last post condemned him as charged.
If a depression sufferer can learn to laugh, especially at himself and his predicament that's half the battle over.
A king Canute type sense of humour is without doubt the best tool available.
