I used to work in Baileys years ago and the Tartan was watered to **** - you could drink 10 pints and still be stone cold sober - I also worked in Trog and Centre Bar - Top Score lager has got to be the ****test drink ever - most popular bottled beer of the time was Heineken - one of my jobs was to collect the half empty bottles of ginger and tonic water and make full bottles and put a top on them and sell them again later

The can bar in Trog bar was very popular not just to avoid the queue at the main bar.

Nah Alan was a dyed blonde hair gay bloke in centre bar. Good bar man.

I remember Mel shally was the head bouncer in trog. He was a smallish bloke with a quiff.

the guy I'm talking about was gay - about 1976 - I remember a George from Trog - he walked across the road and was a bouncer at Scamps later in the evening - there was about half a dozen door staff, cant remember their names- my 'job' was to give them free drinks all night and I got into Scamps for free and then got free drinks there all night - nice but totally unofficial arrangement - I remember going out one night with 2p on me and getting home legless about 3
