I wonder whether it was something like his brain? Like a stroke. If that was a cardiac arrest I’m surprised he’s sat up on the stretcher being carried off. If someone has lost oxygen for that long!????

Thank the lord it sounds like he is going to be ok. I believe he had a stroke/seizure and maybe not a heart attack.

There is a picture where you can clearly see his eyes are open but almost in a trance.

Hope we get to hear more today. To ensure he is ok.

 

Sounds like his career may be over but he is alive. That is the most important thing.

 

I didn’t get to see the game but from what I have read it didn’t sound initially good. So yes your probably right it’s just not worth the risk is it.

Is it me or are things like this becoming more common in football?

 

Without wanting to open up a can of worms between @Roy Munson and @the #Cans Master it looks to me as if today's players bodies can't cope with the intensity of modern football even with all the science, nutrition etc

 

It would seem that way. The demands on the human body are just insane.
