“This has been the worst season of my life and I am so upset, so frustrated. I am a winner and I came here to win trophies but I’ve been here for five years and won nothing. A footballer’s career is over very quickly so it is time for me to move on. This is not a sudden decision. I made up my mind eight months ago. I was fed up of coming home and feeling down. But I haven’t said anything until now because I did not want to disrupt the team during the season. And I haven’t caused a big scene. I’ve simply been to see Arsene Wenger and told him how I felt and he’s agreed to let me go.”

So how do we feel about this now that one of our, um 'natural winners ' is leaving? Personally I think it will make absolutely no difference to us. I will keep an eye on his career to see if he is actually talented after all though.

Poor lad...
More like "I can't get into the team" :emoticon-0106-cryin

No idea what stunt he's trying to pull here, but he kinda gives it away with the "eight months ago"
Eight months ago?
You were in the Carling Cup final a matter of months ago <doh>

The story was in the Sun, so take it with a pinch of salt, but if he does go it will be no great loss to be honest.

He had good statistics this season for you, which is surprising. You won a higher percentage when he played than when he didn't. Arsenal are a strange team who I don't mind but annoy him massively. If you just bought 3 or 4 quality players!!

Where do you see yourself finishing next season?? I reckon you and Liverpool fighting it out for 4th spot.

What we do in the transfer window is crucial in determining where we finish next season. We make the right buys and we can challenge for the title, if we don't we can drop out of the top 4.
