The way I see it, We've spent roughly the same amount on Borini as we did for Kuyt, for a player that has more potential than Kuyt while (though I can only go by what I've read) also being able to do what Kuyt did well As for Dempsey, I don't like the figures that I see being quoted for him, but as a replacement for Maxi Rodriguez I think he would be an improvement, and a good squad player. I feel that he would have more goal scoring potential in a Liverpool shirt that Maxi did. Maxi was all about clever off-the-ball runs, but Dempsey is more of a presence. If we do sign Dempsey I think that we would still need one more forward with pace and trickery before I would feel at ease with our strikeforce
