    I personally couldn't believe Ba was taken off ahead of ****obi. He was so much quicker and more aware of runs and the right movement. Unfortunately our midfield has barely played together in preseasonand ****iobi is proper **** so all his good rauns were for absolute bollocks all.

    Damn ameobi and damn our ****ty preseason

    It was the worst 45 mins from one of our strikers for some time.... No wonder Pardew hasn't given him the number 9.

    As a number of people have said Ameobi and Ba are too similar in their playing styles. We need a fast, skillful striker and a big target man, not two target men.

    I'm not going to judge/write off Ba based on the first game of the season.
