How many people have seen Llorente regularly?

I've watched him play a few times. Not exactly a HUGE Spanish football fan but do watch Revista De La Liga every week.(and all the BIG games)

    He's a class act.

I would go for huntelaar over ba, but the £7.5m release clause could be too good to turn down, if reports are right we could have both of them for just over £10m and that would be some scoop. But then between them and giroud, only one will start, i'd assume however that wenger will bring in only one player in january.

I know I'm from the enemy but....

There is something distasteful about Ba's comments.

Newcastle took a chance on him when no one else would just 18 months ago...he could at least keep quiet and show the toon and their fans some respect.

Llorente is Giroud with a better volley, and lower work rate basically. And apparently lower chance conversion rate! He's having a poor season too, as far as goals are concerned.

Even if Wenger rated him higher than Giroud, he wouldn't go for someone as similar.

A lot of stories surround Ba quite often, and he always rubbishes them all on twitter.

However, if you offer him 80k a week, a 4 year contract and the promise of first team football, you're in with a great chance.

Yeah I would agree with that.

It's funny Wenger has been after Benzema for years (and even outright admitted it) - why not just test Madrid with a concrete offer?

Cavani would probably be my first choice striker if money was not an issue but Falcao & Benzema would both fit into our line-up pretty well also.

Sometimes it is absolutely WORTH spending £30 Million on the 'right' player for your squad.

Falcao could get 200k+ a week at Chelsea. Llorente, huntelaar, Baa are realistic options in our price range

Lewandowski would be my ideal choice.

He makes scoring look so easy .

It's a shame, i would have gone for Llorente originally, unfortunately we got the cheaper version in Giroud instead. Llorente is too simular, but is the better player. He would flourish in the more physical Premier league and in our technical system.

    Better technique too.

Yes, you're right though. He's way too similar to Giroud.

We need a rapid striker ala Aguero, Suarez, type.

Huntelaar is first choice for Holland over van Pussy, so Huntelaar for me. My initial thought is it would be great to get Ba as well, but if we got both I would expect Theo to go.

A little while ago I read that Huntelaar could be as little as £7m (but probably way out) and with Ba at £7.5m how would you like both for £14.5m?

Another DM to replace Diaby as he'll never be back would be great as well.

The Bundesliga isn't as good as the EPL??? You are having a laugh. All seven German teams in the group phases in the Champions League and Europa League all went through to the knockout stages. The only EPL team that could live with Bayern or Borussia on current form are Manchester United. City, our current champions whipped!!

Demba Ba! You are having a laugh!! At best he is very inconsistent and is not the top level player your fans deserve. If he is so great, why is he at Newcastle? Hope you guys get Huntelaar!!

If Theo and Ox are so great, why were they at Southampton? If Llorente is so great, why is he at Bilbao? If Arteta is so great, why was he at Everton? If Jesus was so great, why was he born in a barn? I could go on.
