    They got him for free I believe. He had a relegation release clause.

    It was a free transfer, I dont think that 11 goals in 10 games is too bad for Newcastle
    And he had a rather good record at west ham. With the injury problem... he knows how to handle and control it.
    But as said before... Piss off!

    They play completely different positions, Gourcuff is not consistent by any means, he's struggling in the French league which is no where near as strong as the premiership and once we get the likes of Wilshire and Diaby back he would not get into the squad. Our strikers aside from Van Persie are very weak so someone like Ba could actually challenge for a place.

    Demba Ba looks bloody good and he did the biz last season for West Ham last season and he is doing the biz for Newcastle.

    Quick, strong, can score with either foot and is tall, what is not to like. someone mentioned Heskey as if that is a bad thing, remember how good Heskey was at Leicester ?!!!!

    Ba would score bucket loads at Arsenal. He is scoring goals and by all accounts he is over his knee issues.
