Think he needs a firm fatherly arm round the shoulder. And support from fans. Bit of a cliche, but needs to feel loved. Lad is a bit lost. But there's a hell of a footballer in there. I think Eddie could bring it back. A risk? Yes. But worth a punt for not much outlay.
By the way, I lived in Istanbul for 7 years and the quality of football is garbage. Apart from the top 4 teams, the rest are League One at best. European players go there to retire. I wouldn't give a **** if I was playing in Turkey, just pick up my cheque and go home to my villa next to the Bosporus and enjoy the view and nightlife.
I don't think he'd get support from our fans either, look at Chris Wood for a prime example of how things go when you aren't performing.
He’s 26 and his career is in the gutter at the moment. I think with the right manager and right team environment around him he could rediscover himself and his previous form. The thing with our club now is that our fans will put their trust in Eddies decisions and give things time so a loan for the rest of the season and possibly even a season long loan next season dependant on performance attitude etc with an option to buy at the end wouldn’t be the end of the world. Imagine having Bruno next to you playing week in week out man! All it would take would be a chat with Eddie…he has a particular type of player/character he wants at the club so if it happened we’d have to trust him, if it didn’t then job on son and best of luck yada yada yada!

The difference here is that they’ve always been ****! Alli is an England International….and don’t start spouting off about Ritchie being a Scottish international as it doesn’t take much to get a ****ing Scottish cap! Christ they’ve had players who have qualified cos their great grandfathers uncle shagged a Scottish bird once when he was pissed.
I think Eddie could be the man to turn him round, I really do and the way things are with him at the moment it could be a no brained and well worth a punt!
