Yeah nothing wrong with Lewis pasties just the way they had bizzare temparature ratings when bought down the Vetch!! the amount of 3rd degree burns received from buying tea and tipping it over the hands and biting into a pastie must have been fairly high ;)

I'm actually worried about the mental health of Jager and Norway, actually admitting to liking those horrible bloody pasties down the Vetch. You're both braver and better than I am.

I think the womans name was Doris, I'm not 100% on that because I was a bit scared to talk to her, in fact I still get the odd nightmare now and then.

Never said I liked them <laugh> just they were better than the alternatives there, the oxtail soup was okay with plenty of pepper and salt, which funnily enough I used to bring with me ;) And not quite sure if Doris was her name, it doesn't ring any bells

This sums it up really. People on a forum don't wan't to have to read two people bitching at each other...any two people!
I however think it becomes dangerous to delete threads. Still we can start to see how modding on 606 was useful at times :)
The little ignore button is useful but can be a pain. I would love to ignore a lot of what Vetch says when having his little bitch fight with Proph as an example, but there are times his posts are very insightful and interesting. So have to read the chaff to get the wheat :)
As for JH...seems strange you would delete a thread but not ban him.

That's fair. I deleted both threads because yours (Prophet) had descended, once again, into personal insults, and then Vetch starts a thread aimed directly at you, with only one outcome, more personal insults. I'm sorry if people don't like that, but there we are.

I don't have the power to ban, only modify/delete/move, hence jh's continued presence...

might have been the premierships smallest crowd.
but the smallest premiership crowd is always prefereable to any sort of championship crowd

Are you only saying that because QPR are likely to have some of the lowest this season? ;)
If Wigan and Blackburn are not at home when Rangers are, then that is what will happen <ok>

    siambird,sawadeecap.

Indeed,it is very unedifying for two grown ups to fight on this,or any other Board. However, when one person is heroically hurling around personal insults, and making libellous, scurrilous accusations, from the safety and security of his computer, whilst calling the other a coward, you shouldn't be surprised if there's a reaction.

Whilst I am sufficiently aware of your behaviour to know that you will never behave in such a manner, there is a member of your peer group that does. To think that the behaviour referred to above does not have a deleterious effect on the image of your Club,is to bury one's head in the proverbial bucket of sand.
I feel that some attempt should have been made some time ago to rein in the excesses of the person you refer to in your post, preferably by sensible people as yourself, since to not do so,condones it,and therefore encourages it.

I will ALWAYS defend myself against such abuse, from whichever source it may emanate, and those who find these altercations distasteful, can move on,as I do when I come across tiresome threads.

I find it highly amusing, and not a little hypocritical, when posters,Jager, for instance, castigate me for my actions, but carry on their fights in a different corner,as if they had a god given right.

It was encouraging to learn that you think some of my offerings "are very insightful and interesting",and I thank you for highlighting that. I will do my utmost to continue being "insightful and interesting".

I think CADW should have had a preservation order on the North Bank toilets !!!

They could have been relocated somewhere,as a permanent reminder of those heady days.

Any suggestions as to a suitable venue for reerection? Not plumbed in,of course, that would be asking too much.

Surely Salubrious Passage would be most apt?

Anyone else hear the urban myth about a guy doing a Klinsmann along the length of the toilets? Probably aquaplaned a little if true! I'm not sure whether I even WANT this story to be true...

Good shout Scott, shows you thought about it.

The name would have to be changed, however,to UnSalubrious Passage.

Here until some point in October, to be honest I want out, and this deal work made has all gone kind of tits up so now I'm in a **** situation. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, up **** creek without a paddle! If I don't get a guarantee of work for October in the next few days I'll be on the 1st plane home as soon as October comes.

I was working with a guy based in South Africa all summer, but sadly work goings-on have probably scuppered my chances of using him as an in. Never know though... I've been looking at Mozambique/Zanzibar quite a lot recently, I'm definitely still going to go over, but sadly it's going to have wait a little bit I think.
