Well, do we actually know this is correct - I would have thought after all the fuss made when MP departed for Spurs and the subsequent premature predictions of doom (I wont say the A S words) that people would perhaps take a couple of pinches of salt.

I don't mind players handing in transfer requests. As long as it's "Just so you know, I'd like to leave and out of fairness to the club I'm willing to forgo my loyalty bonus" as opposed to "Dear Southampton, Piss off!"

Seems like more and more these days players will hand in transfer requests (or at least are rumored to have done so) but the request is not accommodated, and the next season the player just plays for the club like nothing has happened and there don't even seem to be hard feelings.

 

Wasn't Ashton on Cortese's private jet getting handjobs from the "hostess" ??

 

It is my understanding that Saints FC officials need to be notified of a transfer request by pager. The beeps and whatnot in the Les Reed video released yesterday were not in fact construction/vehicle noises but Les being paged by the players demanding that they be allowed to follow their dreams of Champions League football at Liverpool.

 

Lets just stay calm and wait and see.

The club decide when literally every player leaves, other than those whose contracts expire and refuse new ones.

Why do journo's do it lt? The Sun ran a story today about KP handing back his 100th test silver cap. Blatantly showing him in a bad light. KP tweeted a picture of himself with it straight after. Why make up this **** and then open yourself up to getting sued? Guess the sales outweigh any later retraction.

Indeed. To be honest, with losing our manager and a favourite player recently this doesn't seem to annoy me as much as it would have a few weeks ago. I have accepted that unsavoury things may happen this summer, and also hoping that good things will happen too. Let's just wait and see!
