If there is any truth in the interest of Barcelona then that would go a long way to explaining Lovrens transfer request
Is there any truth in the rumour that Dejan said on Croatian TV that he hadn't made any transfer request and that reports that he had were untrue?
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...for-Dejan-Lovren-after-cashing-in-on-Fabregas Is the Express reliable ? I honestly don't know .
The article from the express quotes a source of AS which is a spanish news agency, i went on there website and found the only article on Lovren to Barcelona http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2014/06/14/primera/1402741966_450361.html The headline using google translate EDIT: Got to love google translate - It appears Liverpool have got personal with a few of our players
Worth bearing in mind that AS are basically the propaganda arm of Real Madrid, so their stories about Barcelona might not be entirely on the level. Printing a rumour that their rivals are after a defender who conceded a penalty in the opening game of the world cup is the kind of thing that would appeal to them I think. They also cite the Daily Mail as their source which should probably ring alarm bells as well!
Anyone that thinks that our Board are unambitious should spare a thought for Baggies fans, they have just appointed Alan Irvine (who?), whose previous experience includes getting sacked from Preston and relegating Sheffield Wednesday!..... We have nothing to moan about, really.
Croatia's players are refusing to talk to World Cup media after photos of them were published bathing nude in their hotel pool, coach Niko Kovac says. The blackout was enforced after two photographers hid in bushes near the team hotel and took pictures of players that appeared online. Southampton centre-back Dejan Lovren and former Manchester City defender Vedran Corluka, now with Lokomotiv Moscow, featured prominently in the photographs. Kovac added: "I respect my players' opinion and I also know that you have done a very professional job so far but you blew it with this one. The whole world has seen the photos." >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WTF!<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Lovren is apparently the main player in the photos. Well, I guess so from the woman on Twitter posting his name with applauding hands.
They're not too graphic. Certainly nothing the British press wouldn't print. Not that I'm condoning it, of course.
And now Morgan is posting photos of himself and his team-mates without tops or even trousers on. Keep Fran away.
and according to this http://www.offthepost.info/blog/201...campaign=Feed: offthepost/TLAa (Off The Post) wasn't there something about a naked picture of lallana on the back pages recently? coincidence?
My guess? It had the intended effect and one of our management types contacted him before it was published, causing Fonte to ask that it not be run.
