There is also rumours of LFC officials have been talking to Valencia about Benega, and that there is considerable interest. These would be a class signings, Benega in cm next to lucas, and Cruyff on the left instead of downing, probably still better than him at 69

Seems that there are three names floating about: Dein, Cruyff, and Van Gaal.. id be happy with any of those and view them all as having good qualities to bring to the club....... van gaal is an interestring name. its been less time since he stopped managing then cruyff... dein never managed so he's not a threat in theory to a manager though. All in all this speculation could backfire if we do something less "impressive"

Please don't start speculation like this, Benega is one of those players I would desperately love to see at Liverpool and would hate my hopes to be dashed. I'm not a FM manager person myself so don't often know what most of the names mentioned are actually like. But the last two seasons I have seen Benega play he just seems class. Would hate to see him move somewhere other than us in the PL.
Can't see him staying at Valencia for too much longer as , as far as I know, they don't exactly have the strongest financial position. Would be interesting to see if he would be attracted to our club rather than the others that are interested in him.

I know, usually my favorite players on the continent are never linked to Liverpool. In fact they're never linked to anyone, although the only teams I really follow are Dortmund and some of the Bundesliga and some La Liga too when I get to watch it. Italy I don't really have a clue accept the Napolis and Milans, I used to know **** loads of footballers when I was younger. The only players I really wanted to see at Liverpool that we actually bought was Karl Heinz Riedle and Torres.

Its just what i heard- twitter is great for rumours. Many people seem to be in the know, always get to see the team a hour before its announced as they have "sources." Banega does seem unlikely considering that stupid injury but he is meant to be a v good player, despite being pretty slow.
