I'd take Defoe for around £5m. He is a natural goalscorer. I don't think his time at Spurs has been brilliant, but that's because Harry has treated him like ****, despite buying him twice 
Give the lad a chance to shine I say - we need someone who's sole intent is to simply get on the end of the ball and stick it in the net. He's also got a decent long range shot on him (we should give that a go sometime too

If it doesn't work out, ship him off to someone like Wigan or Wolves.
