Cerny never ceases to amaze me........a few months ago we were getting Anelka, and look where he's off to.

David MacIntyre summed this up in the Summer when we were being linked to a host of their players, including Jermaine Jenas, Peter Crouch, David Bentley, etc. He summed things up by advising that Harry was working out his 25 man squad and that thereafter QPR and a number of other interested clubs would then be informed of the extraneous players that would be available. Less a case of who we want, more a case of who Harry Redknapp wishes to offload. As such, presumably Jemaine Defoe has been identified as one of those surplus to requirements. And that's where it gets difficult to grasp.
