there were loads at the time terr that wanted jinks to back the manager......i remember the feeling very well...thank god for the prattley affair that the Morgans stepped in eventually and forced jinks to back Brendan or we would not be here now.....it took 3 seasons for it to sink in that we wont get anywhere near the premiership if we never invested in quality players......the fans won in the end through fans like me who voiced their concerns and said it as it is and not bull **** that was making us static......
Sorry, you're probably right there. I can't be sure of that and obviously didn't read the question properly. Phil was certainly as against Rodgers appointment as Dai was though and like I said, you've got to hand it to him, he stuck by it
Fcuk me Dai I can't believe it was you. I thought it was someone else. No defence for that I'm afraid thats disgraceful
Ah yes, the Pratley affair. Where he was going to Forest FACT!!...then he didn't. Then came the bull that there was a board meeting and the board went against Jenkins who wanted to sell and Morgan walked out of the meeting blah blah blah
Why is it??? it takes drastic measures to get something like backing for the manager to finally sink in....It worked in the end and thats all that matters...hence where we are today... who gives a **** if you lose against hereford when with the right backing we can achieve much more....and we did......
So we're in the premier league because you wanted Hereford to beat us in a pre season friendly Please stop Dai, you're killing me
sa9 are you for real son or does it come natural to you...there is nobody on here who knows the history and the going ons in the club than me...I make it my buisiness to find out and im entitled to do that with the thousands and thousands of pounds i have put into the club over 50+ years, if you dont want to believe some of the going ons then that's ok as i certainly don't give two hoots whether you do or dont........ well i have had enough for tonight talking and putting you in your place with facts so im off to bed....signing off the voice of reason..
And there goes Billy Bullsh*t, off to bed with his lighted candle to dream up some more fairytales for tomorrow. Hope you all enjoyed todays stories. Night night!
You haven't put anyone in their place. Your so knowledgeable that you don't even know that we didn't contest the paint trophy in the championship, yet you know more than anyone? And you've got the cheek to ask if I'm for real
My mate did on friday , not from Tenby though, must ask him to mention their friend from Tenby and ask a few questions, have a little dig around. Watch this space people!
Thousands and thousands into the club ?????? First time I'm hearing of this. How much and what for then Dai ?
There is no one way to be a fan. What Dai is describing is unusual but he isn't the first fan to want his team to lose in order to see change at his club. If you read other boards you'll see evidence of this every season (usually when the support has given up any hope of avoiding relegation). Dai has explained why he felt that way, most of us disagree with his reasoning...big deal. You lot sound like the Taliban of Swansea City. This is the football forum equivalent of a stoning Why do you care so much about what Dai thinks/thought? It's become the Dai show (and not because of anything Dai has done either)? Boring.
