According to the ALS website Steve Bruce says that they do not practice defending set pieces as it could lead to injuries,are we as a club the only ones to do this?Thoughts please..........
 
Good thing is it does not show during game, when was the last time we conceded at a set piece, hang on !!!!!!!!!!!!!

And TBF whaen was the last time we had a defender injured?
 
Does this mean we don't practice set pieces at all, or just don't practice defending them. Because I'm certain we are proficient at scoring from them, just poor at defending them....oh wait.
 
Professional footballers should know what to do. All they do all day is train or play football! Most of us on here have played to whatever level. They get a corner, you say "i'll get him" or "you mark him", etc. Imagine being a professional footballer and all you have to do is defend.... They get paid plenty money to do it! I think what I'm trying to say is regardless of what happens in training, we should be able to defend. They also have the advantage of videos, people watching the opposition.
 
.....The real reason is they`re not going to do anything SB says are they.....What!? and end up with their box snatched like him......"Oh yes I see what you mean Steve shove my heed in regardless like this ....certainly....would it be an idea to bray me nose with a hammer before we start just to warm up a bit?
