QPR defender Geoff Cameron has revealed that the whole squad held “a big meeting” to address the side’s terrible start to 2019, in the wake of Rangers’ defeat to Rotherham last week.
Two goals from Rotherham defender Semi Ajayi, including a last minute header, earned the Millers a 2-1 win, making QPR the first team to lose to Rotherham on home soil this season, and was their ninth defeat in twelve league games in 2019.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Cameron revealed details of the meeting, saying: “We had a big meeting where people held themselves accountable.
“We went around and individually everyone said how they were feeling and said what they wanted to say.
“We were all of the same opinion, in terms of what’s been lacking – a lack of confidence, a lack of self belief. Things haven’t been going for us and we’ve been frustrated.”
Following that defeat, Rangers fought back from a 2-0 half time deficit at Hull on Saturday to draw 2-2, which Cameron believes could be a sign of things to come, as he claimed: “For us it’s massive as before we would have crumbled after going behind.

“It just shows the resilience and determination of the guys and how much we want to end the season strongly.
    The verdict
For much of the mid part of the season, it looked as though this would be a relatively comfortable campaign for Rangers, but that horrendous start to 2019 has just sewn the seeds of doubt into some of those around Loftus Road.
An eight point buffer to the relegation zone with eight games remaining should still see them safe, but they will want to finish strongly, or every other side aiming for survival next season will start to target Rangers as a side to take three points off if they are to stay in the division.

Glad they did that but unless it translates to wins and draws it has limited value. Here's hoping.
