Defence, midfield or what?

Dai in your dreams good boy! If you think that either De Guzman or Ki are anywhere near the talent of Joe, for keeping the ball and passing, then your deluded, why did we put such a price on his head? obviously because he was rated by the club and Rodgers, they clearly know something you and Norway don't!................

 

I agree with all that but Laudrup has since changed the style of the team,we dont really know if Joe would be as effective in this model of swans 2012/13

Bottom line is that we dont know if we would have kept the ball better with Joe in the team. The style is different now Dragon

My points on Ki and JDG are the same and i agree they dont appear to be as effecient as Allen,but Joe does have those little legs and they can be deceiving ive noticed...

If you had seen how fast Joe was running against Jarvis yesterday you woulf know exactly what im on about! little Joe was flying ..i thought!! then Jarvis just cruised past him.. little legs see boyo

I love Joe as you know but i dont think we are missing him as badly as you think Dragon

 

Exactly Ivor, concerns me too! there are two issues, these two midfield players, and our backline! They are both far to light in the tackle, and don't seem prepared to do any dirty work!..............

 

Concerns me too!.....but the point about Allen is moot in this Laudrup era

 

Ivor has spotted where the issues are in our midfield, and he has highlighted the same issues, that I've been pondering over!!!!...............



We'll see what January brings! ...............

 

.....snow !! thats what January will bring Dragon !! at least in Norway! but i will be laying in the sun in gran canaria then ..

 

Hopefully JDG will be shipped back out in the summer and we can buy a quality defensive midfielder, who likes to do the donkey work. However, Ki also has to start wising up.

 

Unless of course you have so much snow you wont be able to get there

 

Nah, its Norway they use to snow hitting runways and they actually own enough equipment to clear the runways if it gets heavy,not like at Heathrow!! big problem may well be flying back there from wales though!! ive given myself a 2 day window returning back !! ...

 

Alright for some aye, gran canaria! If we get snow, it's all stop, anyway my next trip is to Norfolk Center Parcs, plenty of in door activity, and heated pools, Sauna etc!...........
