Deep South Texas and West Watford
There is a Premier League highlights show over hear called The Men in Blazers Show. Two balding middle-aged English dudes talk about the weekend games in a comedic fashion. It's similar in style to Baddiel and Skinner but more PC of course.

Over the last two shows these two shysters have been comparing our beloved leader on the field with that Internet parody artist known as Fat Drake. I think they are insinuating that our Troy is a bit too bulky and immobile. Very harsh in my opinion.

What is even more annoying is that Hotline Bling (and all parodies thereof) is the most annoying garbage since Renée & Renato assaulted our ears in the early 80s.

I will leave it up to you to decide...

In other news I am likely to be heading back Watfordside on an emergency visit in the next few days (pishing away my tax return in a short-booked flight in the process). I might even be able to make the Stoke game if I play my cards right. Is the Ebb Tide on Market Street still a going concern ? And does it still do the best Doner Kebab in town ?

Excellent.
Yes, owned by the same family.
Who knows - by the time I want a doner I'm way past caring, but still the best fish and chips in town.... However, you might want to head into the parade / flyover where the various food stalls are nowadays including a Tex-Mex (if you feel the urge ;-) ) and the German sausages are great.

Do we have to do that? I just hide away, well away....

Thanks HF - if I get the chance I will be sure to sample their delights (extra chilli sauce of course).

And food stalls in The Parade ? That's a new one. Being a bit of a sucker for 'street food' I will have trouble passing those by.

Although my visit will be brief and for rather sad personal reasons - it would still be a shame to not partake in a smorgasbord of scran that is not readily available in this neck of the woods.

Mate, you can only do what you can do. Do the right thing and everything will be alright: as near to a motto as I can get in life. Have day a great visit.
