not that fond of the 3D tbh. Mrs had an eye op when she was a kid so it doesnt work for her
and (at the risk of incurring ST's wrath) I used that one up for the big LCD. we already had a panny plasma 42", told her it wasnt good for gaming

Have the panny in my bedroom and LCD in living room.

Think would get shot if got another one

ceilings are all white, and will remain so

TBH all the hall and bedroom walls had artex too. and thta is gone/covered up

ceilings are not that bad, nice and simple tbh. rather not get anyone in as it would be too much hassle at the moment

Anyone with a bit of sense would not **** a load of money on a 3D tv. Thousands of pounds, 1 channel and £70 for a pair of glasses.

As for you ceilings. Glossing it will look really good and people won't laugh.

    would people actually notice?

tbh it wouldnt/doesnt bother me what people say/think

I was thinking of the practicalities/downside to doing it.

Gloss paint is for Timber, never attempt to use gloss on walls or ceilings, ffs man you cant gloss with a roller so youre going to end up doing the ceilings with a brush <hoursofhell>

Everything you post on here is utter bullshit. You've got two houses, two cars, you were a teacher, you've got seven kids etc.

    You're a complete ****ing loon <laugh>

Why other people fall for it is beyond me.
