Nicely put Swans-m. I am the same, i think i have watched the football league show once so far this season, and that was way back when the weather was still hot. I dont bother watching match of the day, Champions or Europa league, in fact the only football i watch is Cardiff City and Wales. The rest of it is totally irrelevant to me, i do however keep an eye on all of the Welsh league clubs results.
[QUOTE="Dai Jones So really you can't expect much more, always said that this forum will slowly fade away unless the jacks are put in their place.[/QUOTE] "Unless the jacks are put in their place". Oh,but they are - The Premier League. Poor old Dai Jones.Still can't handle the reality of Swansea City being No.1 Club in Wales. Jealousy is SUCH a negative emotion, especially to the perpetrator of such jealousy, while the target is unscathed. Seriously,it's this type of comment that has seen this forum become the wasteland it now is,i.e.,"fading away". Dai Jones needs to get himself a life,or perhaps another hobby, since his attitude is possibly influencing and hindering visitors here. I can well remember him having a go at me,for merely visiting here, and posting something quite innocuous. If you want more Club interaction, then take some firm action. Start by removing Mr.Jones. You've done it before. How IS Dave Jones these days, anyway?
Your contribution is noted VETCH, though the issue of the declining activity on here is nothing to do with DJ. Apart from some very brief visits recently he hadn't posted for months prior to this thread - the same time during which the board activity has declined. DJ's views on you jacks are his own and he has a right to express them, though perhaps the tenacity of his convictions along those lines hasn't done him any favours. The bottom line is that the fall off usage of this board has nothing to do with previously visiting jacks as some would like to believe. The fact that we get very few across here now proves the point because it's coincided with the decline. The real reason is the bland nature of the club at present both on and off the pitch. Our ownership and immediate debt comittment issues have all but gone away, and the stuff the supporters have been forced to watch this season are both prime causes. Contradictorily, the poor managerial performances of Slade have evoked far more conversations than anything else. I'm almost wishing for some more off pitch controversy if we can't get the onfield performance right to spark this board again......
Nice try at a diversion there Yoda - I know it's really you................ please log in to view this image
Fug yes, no doubt about it, Swansea City doing remarkably well establishing themselves as a credit to Welsh football. We'll catch up with you one day....'erm soon pal!
Yes Dragon, missing you pal....like a fart in a spacesuit as they say....no offence intended, there are some good quality farts to be enjoyed by all!
With one big exception. Keep this a John Hughes free zone!!!! I miss the young fart and his huge porkie pies. he made me laugh..
Ive not looked in on you lot for a long time, bit strange to see it so quiet on here, but i am sure the good times will return again for you eventually and the mostly good humored banter our fans shared over the years will return too. You lads like your club as much as i do mine so good luck for the future as i do miss the derbies and no matter how bitter the rivalry got i would`nt like to see fellow welshmen in the shyte. ktf.
I seem to have missed 3 weeks tipping, one I forgot, one I was in hospital but the third? anyway a 3-2 win for you guys tonight/tomorrow morning, good luck and gday to Aber
