Dont think it in decline really otherwise there would be far more 3 0, 4 0, 5 0 wins for teams like there was a few years ago, but every team seems to be finding it hard to keep clean sheets this season and are fighting to the end for every point which makes it more interesting for the neutral, And it is also a 3 team race for the title instead of just 2 and then you also have 5 or 6 teams fighting for 4th place insted of just 2 or 3.

Wonderful comment Bow!! Are you guys going to take the Europa League seriously if you get through to the next stage? You could be joined there by Juve and Arsenal, if they lose ot Olympiakos!! The German teams are looking good in that tournament as are Atletico Madrid!!

As for the Chamions League, I expect Chelsea and United's experience to see them through to the later stages, United in the last four if they avoid Barca, Bayern or Dortmund!!

    Hello

We won't take it seriously untill we/if we get to Semi Finals or so. We havent the squad to deal with both that and the League and the League obviously takes precedant.

Its a good point that there are some good team in the Europa League - many of whom are quite capable of beating are full strength team, and are League 1 standard reserves.

I think Chelsea and United will do well again in the Champs this year. This you will fall short in the League though.

The problem is trying to give your best in 4 competitions! When your playing 2 games a week, virtually all season with injuries/suspensions you have to decide what has to give! For me the Capital One cup has to involve only the fringe players i.e no 1st team regular should appear (other than a 1st appearance after injury).PL and CL are Ist priority with the FA Cup again taking up key players only where the draw pairs us up with difficult opponents!
