Probably need 4 players to go out on loan. McGuire, Bruce, Sagbo would be 3 of my 4 choices.

It's one thing having competition for places. It's another having too many individuals with no hope of getting any game time apart from a substitution appearance 5 minutes from time.

 

Bruce and McGuire is hardly competion for places ffs!

 

I would consider Aluko to, put a recall clause in the loan. You really don't need Ince and Aluko both not playing.

I think against Palace who only play 1 upfront having three centre backs is a real waste.

 

Aluko really needs a run of games. Been a while since he was starting regular. A make or break loan deal would be ideal for him.

Chester must come back. Defence is the most worrying aspect of recent displays. Don't care of no one is sent out on loan.

 

Hugely important game against CP who are on a good run of form. A win could get us back in the top-10...a loss put us in the relegation zone with tough games coming up. I'm sure Bruce will go back to the 3-5-2 with Chester back in. We need to start aggressively though and not in the defensive shell that gave Man City a two goal start. I'd like to see Brady in from the KO in place of Livermore whose been disappointing recently. A MF five across of Robertson Brady Diame Thudd and Elmo behind Jellie and Hernandez will give us a real attacking threat.

 

Definitely need Chester back with Davies. If this means dropping Dawson to go 3-5-2 that's fine by me. I've a feeling Dawson's arrival might be at the root of our recent defensive woes. Is he so much better than Chester that he gets a guaranteed start every week? I think not. Is he on more dosh than Chester/Davies? I think maybe so.

 

Meant to say drop Dawson and go 4 at the back. Long lunch today...........

 

If SB goes for 352, having seen Ramirez I would love to see him in for Livermore.

Not sure Stan, but SB did replace Livermore with Ramirez yesterday, and he is class on the ball.

 

I think almost everyone on here wanted 3-5-2 yesterday (with Chezzy in the back 3). Will SB finally do it?

I know there's an element of 'horses for courses', but Chezzy is missed.

 

Dawson has never played in a back three.

Bruce was a top centre back.

If he goes with a four it is because he thinks it is better for the team, and will be basing that on more than just hope.
