We have 5 games in 15 days then 3 matches in 6 days. It's gonna be a big as of our players and we need as many fit as possible if we're to be competitive throughout.
But everyone has the same dilemma. Hopefully our ball retention ability will be as hood as it used to be so we can tire other sides out by making them chace the ball etc.
Manchester City v Swansea city - loss Swansea City v Newcastle - win Swansea v Hull - win Swansea City v Everton - draw Chelsea v Swansea City - loss Aston Villa v Swansea City - loss Yep, expectation seems to be settling down now. I've gone for 7 but only because Villa always seem to do us there for some reason. I'd like to think 8 or 10 really.
Our squad is far too small to be competitive in every game, We should have brought at least 4-5 players in before the season started..
The main inconvenience I find is the Saint gallen game. It's 3 days after our previous game and 3 days before the next one. Hopefully we wrap up qualification against Valencia on Thursday so we can approach this game with a more relaxed approach.
agree with you there Dai. need at least a draw v Valencia and hope KK can at least get a draw at home, if that happens play the crappiest side v St Gallen
Be interesting to see if we bring anyone in during January's transfer window. I'd like to see 3 players added to the squad.
I said from the off that we needed 25 players to be competitive. I'd like a tall centre back, a Parker type midfielder and a decent back up striker for Christmas. Suppose I'll get the usual socks, though.
Officially we have 28 named in our Squad, and that is not including Ki at Sunderland, I think we have enough, though perhaps Donnelly getting run outs up front would be a good idea instead of Alvaro, who's this years Schechter!................
In that case put me down for 10 points. I can't see Norwich being as much of a problem as Villa at the mo.
