Singer-songwriter Peter Sarstedt, best known for the 1969 chart-topper Where Do You Go To (My Lovely)?, has died aged 75.
According to the BBC, Sarstedt’s family confirmed that he passed away peacefully following a six-year battle against Progressive Supernuclear Palsy.
They added that they were ‘with him to the last’ and said his music would be missed by many.
Peter, who was born in Delhi, spent four weeks at the top of the UK charts in 1969 with Where Do You Go To (My Lovely)?
