Well now you’ve included an exclamation mark you’re clearly correct. My apologies. Let’s lock up every burglar for life in case one of them robs again.
So, you don't think there should be any room for rehabilitation in our justice system? Just retribution?
Yet here you are again. Just leave it then, as there's some good debate going on and the no camp seem to be winning the debate at the moment.
Then for those convicted of doing so, they must face the same punishment. That should be the case for all "false witness" convictions - maximum punishment (and in the case of custodial - NO EARLY parole) .
What part of this statement don’t you understand ? “Over 30 killers killed again after being freed from prison between 2000/1 and 2010/11, statistics show”. Ask the family’s of this atrocity about rehabilitation. Twat!
It's only imbeciles, idiots, and the uneducated who advocate the death penalty. Anyone with even a modicum of intelligence knows that the death penalty is a step backwards into a medieval past. We need to move forward as a species. Love and understanding is what is required. Not death and destruction.
It’s very rational, why should families be subjected to a life of misery when the country I’d letting them down in the name of cutting costs and saving money?
False analogy. In the case of the death penalty being wrongly applied the innocent life has been taken by the state. In your example the innocent life has been taken by an individual. That isn't the same thing.
I cannot see who you are arguing with, so I suspect it's Skiddy. Save your breath, my friend. You might as well be arguing with a ****ty stick.
So some Neanderthal breaks into your home whilst your playing to an adoring crowd of pensioners at the Con club and rapes and brutally kills your family. Would you be willing to talk to them about love and understanding? Twat!
Because it would be utterly mental to live in a civilised country but punish on the basis of what might happen.
