It seems 'destroying the planet' means a 95% reduction in deaths from natural disasters. Oil saving the whales. which were used for fuel and turtles which were saved by plastics, never mind all of the technology created and lives saved from medicines and access to fuel and clean water. Some people just swallow any old guff spewed out in the media.
