I am sure that socio-economic factors, poverty, deprivation etc. will account for the IQ of a nation as a whole. Poor as f.uck = low IQ

Not necessarily. The school with the highest % of school meals in NI is also the school with the best GCSE and A-Level results (inc private schools). Being poor is no excuse, the tools are there it's a lack of parental input that is the problem.
They tend to be homogeneous countries too, the top 6 have next to no African or Muslim people as residents.
We are told that there is no such thing as ethnic British people so Dayshwarn and Abdul can claim to have the same IQ as British people which kind of muddies the waters.
At least you have the benefit of actually having schools. Forget how many students have free school meals, in many African countries they don't even have a school let alone pizza at lunchtime.
