Simon is obviously struggling to find any Islamic terrorist attack reports in the UK prior to the invasion of Iraq ... not to worry, those brown men were surely plotting anyway 
ETA weren't doing anything in 2017 and the Catalans just went on daft marches and blocked Barcelona airport, hardly attacks per se. Maybe that Greek mob, November 17 or whatever they are called, but I don't even know if they did anything or are even separatists.

I didn't claim there were any Islamic terrorist incidents in the UK pre Iraq invasion

Islamic terrorists claimed responsibility for the failed plot to blow up the World trade center NY way back in 1993 for starters .

I don't agree with the argument that terrorism is somehow acceptable because of revenge. Revenge attacks against the countries who invaded/supported invasion because of revenge for the initial terrorist attack? Sounds like a Monty Python sketch.
