Over what´s brewing
This Saturday, when we arrive,
Let me just say
That though we´re away
It´s hard to know just who will thrive,
New boys we may be
But we see daily
How much we´ve been able to learn,
There´s still far to go
As we all know
And time for the tables to turn,
But so far so good
And so far, touch wood
We´ve picked up points home and away,
Can we make our mark
At Goodison Park
I don´t see why not, on our day,
We´ll not be in awe
And hopefully score
As in most of our games this year,
But our first clean sheet
Is proving a feat
Beyond us, so far, since up here,
So, we still wait
To see if this date
Can bring a change in that regard,
If we can´t keep tight
I dare say we might
Find winning this one just too hard,
And draws, I see
Aren´t your cup of tea
With so far, only just the one,
Which should mean that Moyes´
And Lambert P´s boys
Should all get some attacking done,
And if that´s the case
Then all is in place
For one more enjoyable spree,
And may the best team
Be the one that´s seen
With the three points, eventually.
