Arsenal confirm too http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/terms-agreed-for-van-persie-transfer Great signing for you lot.
I thought that about Torres and Drogba.... don't think you'll have the same problem as Fergie knows what he's doing though.
I don't know why clubs announce this stuff when they have, in their own words, yet to agree personal terms.
Because utd would have sounded out what his personal terms are, what he will request and they are aware of his injury problems so the rest is a formality unless something drastic happens.
No point in a premier league this season Joking aside, was never sure but for a number of reasons I just shouted YES! as I came on my laptop then to see this. We have by far the 2 most lethal strikers in the country. Also the best attack in the league, strikers and wingers/AM's combined. Who needs a midfield?
Had my doubts about us signing him but time to get behind the player assuming he does pass the medical.
I had my doubts too but the more I think about it the more it makes sense for a number of reasons. The prime one showing the world United are still a big pull and we can get the best players in the world. The confidence in the squad right now will be buzzing.
RVP & Rooney V Aguero & Tevez Heres hoping they all stay fit as its going to be some shoot out for the title.
Can you feel the bitterness spreading through the football world. United just ruined the lives of millions
Didn't really see why we needed him at that price.... But, at the end of the day he is a match winner... Can't ever have enough of those... And if it worst he gets injured - We don't struggle to score goals as last season proved.... The thing about this is now teams will play more defensively against us, they'll see Van Persie and Rooney up front and sit back more... And in a way, this decreases the dependence on the centre of midfield... Still would like to see us buy one... No way it'll be a costly one anymore though. Berba, if sold to the right team, can still make us a bit of money. His, Pogba and Owen's wages will have more than covered Van Persie's too.
