Sorry mate, if it makes you feel any better if I had gone I would have just finished my first year at Uni.
HOADIE you are far too young to be making comments like that. You have to an old git like me (and a few others who are prepared to admit their antiquity) before you can can start going on about how much better things were when you were younger!!!
Not sure how I missed this thread a bit late now but heres my 10 1. Whirlpools End - Paul Weller 2. Town Called Malice - The Jam 3. Nice 'n' Sleazy - The Stranglers 4. Rock The Casbah - The Clash 5. Baba O'Reilly - The Who 6. Down In A Tubestation at Midnight - The Jam 7. Tin Soldier - Small Faces 8. All Around The World - Oasis 9. Olivers Army - Elvis Costello 10. Sound of The Suburbs - The Members
Thought I would dig this out of the archives. Not so sure some of mine would get anywhere near that list now tbh.
Still mostly OK with mine. I did say that at least 5 would always be there. Om=n the basis that the most recent of my choices was recorded in 2004, and the one before that in the 1980's they've been kicking around in my head for a while. In a less introspective mood I'd probably have to drop something for a live version of Even Flow, the problem would be selecting which live version from the 100's that must be available.
