Two bits of good news there.
If he can get fit, and he's played in the right position, Fer will come good in this league

That's a good signing for Derby, I didn't used to rate Johnson but he was brilliant for Norwich last season and was their player of the year. Surprised they let him go.Derby spending money like it's going out of fashion. Another £6m on distinctly average Bradley Johnson

Makes sense if one or both of Sandro or Fer get fit ever again he's down the pecking order. Well behind Faurlin, Henry and Doughty as it is.
Don't forget the fact that we've also got two strong goalkeepers. What an excellent window it turned out to be - keeping two current stars in Austin and Phillips, and adding two future stars in Chery and Luongo. Along with the other additions and the return of Faurlin, we now have a squad that can mount a strong challenge for promotion. Well done to all involved, especially SLF.
Ok then, looks like we've had a very quite 'window' with ( If I'm correct ) one younger player coming in from Reading and this old fart, throwback, hag, reject, invalid, ever so challenged, yet faithful drone staying with us........ Did l miss anyone?Great news everyone ........... TF has just anounced that 'Aussieqpr' has just re-signed for another life time...........
Tony Fernandes says, " Great news fans, 'Aussieqpr' has just re-signed for another life term. This shows the continual commitment from Aussie that we all value.
Manager Ramsey added ........... "Aussie, having come through our juniors system, proves that once you are a QPR fan, you are for life, in this case, a second term"
Hope to have more committed players like Aussie come thru before the deadline.
Aussie has signed for an undisclosed figure.

If we keep Austin, Philips, Fer & bring in Angella I'd say overall we've done pretty well & have a decent enough squad for the season.

Very true mate, 99.9% of us, myself included, probably had the team scrapping the bottom of the table the remainder of the season with the expected losses but now, we can hope the team kicks on and has a real positive season, anything else is a bonus. What could have have been a very depressing transfer window has turned positive & really think we should be aiming for a play off place now. Squad is looking a lot more balanced with also quite a few who've experienced promotion from the Championship so fingers crossed![]()
