I'm not an advocate of reckless spending but better players were available either for loan or moderate fees but the management decided against this & so taking a huge risk with our promotion chance.

We have sufficient quality and quantity to get promoted. If we fail, it's because the manager has failed.

Well now harry got enough tools but its not sure are any of them working properly! They are now QPR players and we should stand by them and concentrate tomorrows match. Three points tomorrow and everything looks much brighter;)
 
I feel that we have done well with what was available. We weren't scoring that many goals before so I can't see that we will score less now. We have more choices in attack to spread the goals around. So although we may not have bought a 20 goal a season striker, if they get 4 or 5 each......same result!

Quantity yes quality very debatable, we've replaced the current 5th top scorer in the Championship with a number who are unlikely to get more than a handful each & goals win games.

If we fail it's because the management has failed TF, Beard & HR.
 
We seem to have started playing with two up front more rather then the loan striker role the Charlie was doing, hopefully the new players will all chip in with enough goals to carry us until he is back. I'm not going to panic, there is more then enough quality in the players we have to get the goals we need!
 
I think that theory about redknapp leaving in the summer is looking spot on.

Half a dozen loans and not a single permanent signing. Im sure hes gone in the summer.<cheers>

A late one has gone through, a move of sorts, as Razvan Rat has been released from West Ham by mutual consent. The Romanian left-back has been reasonably heavily involved this year so it's a bit of a strange one. He does free up a place in the squad though.

I've heard an equally likely theory- maybe Tony's run out of money?
 
Wow there's a lot of negativity from some of our fans. We've just strengthened our squad with 5 players, added cover to the defence and 4 forwards to help Zamora, AJ and the unfortunately injured Austin. If he hadn't got injured, perhaps we wouldn't have got 4 in, 2 or 3 maybe?

However, no other club chasing promotion has done anything like that, what if Nugent, Vardy or Knockaert get injured tomorrow for Leicester? What if Ings pulls a hamstring at Loftus Road? Looking at the strength in depth of all the teams fighting at the top of the Championship, I wouldn't swap our squad for any other. It amazes me what some fans expect?

You don't have to be a genius to see we aren't scoring enough goals, maybe HR will now feel confident enough that he has the players to push 2 up and a couple of the signings will come good.

So whats the general vibe about our new arrivals? I'm happy about Hughes for his experience and being just untill end of the season, also think Keane may turn good for us?

At lease we are not my local team Reading who did not get any in or Leeds who have just sacked Brian McDermott. Sorry I know the last bits are not QPR related but puts things into perspective.
