Gerrard was his childhood footballing hero and he was supposed to show him around the club. He slept through it!
Yes, and you seem to be missing the point. Not every talented player necessarily has a queue of clubs lined up to bid for him. And just because Grealish hasn’t, that doesn’t mean he’s not a talent. Apparently, Chelsea were interested too, anyway.
Maybe he's got what it's takes to become something in the future, but what I'm saying is that at this moment in time £30m is not a steal for Grealish.
Good luck to him. I just think a top 4 club should be strengthening when those around them are. If you don't finish top 4 again it could be catastrophic. That is the reality. Which makes me wonder wtf you're doing chasing a 22 year old <Not that young btw> prospect.
22 is still pretty young. Can’t be sure, but the new stadium will almost certainly be a factor. But yeah, I agree, we should be consolidating our position. As Poch said, it’s time to be brave. Levy obviously disagrees, and potentially pissing off the best manager we’ve had in 50 odd years isn’t the smartest move.
Funny how Alderwiereld has gone from being the best CB in the PL, to a £10m has-been who's legs have gone Whilst an average no-mark from the Championship has suddenly become a player who's going to be worth £60m ****ing deluded Spuds
Again, your opinion. It’s a risk, mainly because of his well documented attitude problems. But one that could pay off handsomely.
