Same age as O'Shea. Clearly not a long term option if true which I understand. Can't see beyond this season at the moment.

It’s just Sky trying to make something more out of nothing, football clubs must hate deadline day as it is very quickly becoming a circus act.
Maybe Sam isn't the new saggy chops then. However, team is still better than it was a month ago.

Predictable, we have had a good window, were 1 signing short (a full back) of having the perfect window, but to be fair to Sam if there is no one out there that can improve us within his budget he is better to keep our powder dry. I hope we stay up so Sam gets the summer to get rid of the rest of the dead wood and sign some more decent players.
Steven Fletcher’s loan move from Sunderland to Marseille has been completed. That could actually be a very good move for the Scotland striker. He is out of contract in the summer and if he impresses, the Ligue 1 club might just offer him a permanent deal. And the weather is a tad nicer in the south of France compared to Wearside.
Let's try and hijack the Rhodes to borough deal. He's only half an hour away and I would say worth a gamble. If it all goes to pot and we go down he will score a hat full in the championship so it's win win for me.
