He should be a good player at that level, will be good experience for him anyway. Fair to say he's probably not as good as people seem to think.

As would I, though he might have to drop down to League 1 to get action, given his spell at Palace. Just speculating about the fact that both he and Barnard were left out of the squad at the last registration deadline, but at current time we have enough space to carry them, even if intending to loan them out.
League One is surely the highest level where he could get football? He wasn't anywhere near our first 11 last season, and he was 20 years old.
So they are - don't know why I thought they were in League One - even so, not exactly a mile off where he could reasonably expect.
