Forest have stated, even with some money coming in, as good as it will get for them are loan signings, there will be no permanent deals.

As for Bamba, i do like him, but he takes far too many risks for my liking, and im guessing Nigel's as well, so i wont be surprised to see him offloaded, otherwise i cant see the point of buying another centre back..........

I only know of Marshall so others would be a surprise, unless Vardy is also done. Pearson and Shaky both said not expecting exits...but Pearson said he wouldn't rule anything out!

BBC Humberside's Matt Dean has been told by Hull City's head of football operations, Adam Pearson that "nothing is happening, period" - either in or out - on the transfer front at the KC Stadium.

Go on Nigel offer 50P for Stewart just to piss him off

Sky Sports understands Stoke winger Ben Marshall has agreed his move to Leicester City.

As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week, Leicester had agreed a fee with Stoke for the highly-rated attacker.

Marshall is now thought to have agreed a three-and-a-half year deal at the King Power Stadium after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.

The signing is something of a coup for Leicester boss Nigel Pearson as a host of clubs were chasing Marshall in this month's transfer window.

Marshall was out of contract at the end of the season and Stoke have decided to cash in on him after failing to agree a new deal with the player.

Marshall is Leicester's second signing in recent days following the arrival of Wes Morgan from Nottingham Forest.

Might be being dense but who is Vardy?

On another random note that reminds me of Luke Varney - I haven't seen any rumours about him surprisingly but now Portsmouth are in the **** we should bring him back home!

Vardy play for Fleetwood town and has scored alot of goals this season. They want around 1M for him and alot of clubs have gone in for him including us. We have meant to have bid 750K for him but since then the deal went quiet

So what exactly was the transfer fee in the end, for John Fallen, he had better be worth the fee from JA!

It was undisclosed, but i can exclusively reveal, it was a mega deal... an out of date pasty and a half of flat lager,or was that what i had at the swindon game? there are add on's though, half a scotch egg and a wagon wheel, depending on appearances.. just heard the deal for the Italian captain is dead in the water...

Leicester City have signed Stoke City winger Ben Marshall for a fee of around £1m, BBC Radio Leicester understands.

The 20-year-old has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal and is available for Wednesday's home Championship match against Middlesbrough.

Academy product Marshall failed to play a first-team game for the Potters but impressed during several loan spells.

His most recent loan move was a six-month stint at Sheffield Wednesday, where he scored five goals in 22 games.

Finally some width. Hopefully Nigel has 1 or 2 more players lined up
