So far today we have been linked with Ricardo, Shay Given, Abdoulaye Faye and Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, Erick Norales, Danny Uchechi, Michael Johnson I think we will have 2-3 new signings by the end of the day and i reckon some people will leave like Lamey, Moreno, Logan. Out of them who do you want, me all but Ricardo Paulo Sousa has had his say on Ricardo, he has said he is a very good keeper and he will do a good job. So with that information we should cut and run
I'd agree with that sentiment - i have also read that the Waghorn to Derby thing has ben stoked up again (il try locate the source). Perhaps this could suggest that Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is looking promising?
If Waghorn does leave that will leave us with only Yakubu and Vassell and thats isnt enough in my opinion so we should keep Waghorn, i think you need at least 4 strikers, Waghorn, Yakubu, Vassell,+1 more
Got this off bbc sport BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin on Twitter: "Celtic are continuing discussions with Stoke City with a view to bringing their defender Abdoulaye Faye to Parkhead on loan. The 32-year-old central defender is wanted by Neil Lennon until the end of the season."
Bilyaletdinov tends to be one of those players who can play in a few positions in the midfield without being specialist in any of them according to an Everton fan I know. He looked a good player when he first went there think he would be class in Championship
1201: Leicester City are still eager to bring in a centre-half and have joined Celtic in the race to sign Stoke City's Abdoulaye Faye, BBC Radio Leicester understands. The Foxes missed out on Curtis Davies last week but it is thought that Celtic remain favourites to land Faye.
Chris McLaughlin on Twitter: "Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has confirmed that Senegalese defender Abdoulaye Faye is in Glasgow for talks over a move to Celtic. Coates has said that Stoke have defensive cover and is happy to see the move go through."
So more sad news then: '1345: A few of you are asking about a possible Sven-Goran Eriksson swoop for Manchester City's second-choice keeper Shay Given but my understanding is there is no chance of the Republic of Ireland international joining Leicester, or anyone else today. City got left short between the sticks by an injury to Given last season when they had loaned Joe Hart out to Birmingham, and they are not going to run the risk of the same happening again this campaign. Given to stay, until the summer anyway.'
Also i know Man City hav e a ridiculous squad but how many keepers can they afford to loan out...: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_6714129,00.html
Rob tanner from the mercury has tweeted Waghorn staying says sven. One more signing to come plus Uchechi is signed up.
