It's expected a number of redundancies will also be announced by Rangers today.

It's actually disgusting that a new company has spent so much cash they are now going to sack people... if that was an investment bank there would be a public outcry!

Future strategy

Season 2014/15 – Building a team and organisation to deliver the SPFL Championship in the first season in the division

Season 2015/16 – Re-establishing the Club in the SPFL Premiership with a top two finish and the ability to challenge for the title

Season 2016/17 – Target to be SPFL Premiership Champions and establishing the platform to be competitive in UEFA competition

Football is that easy!

He only had 128 days tp come up with a plan mind. So a bit rushed im sure!!

I love that their plan is to beg for £30m essentially and ask for season ticket money on top with no clear plan as to what it will be spent on having pissed away 70m in 2 years

[TD]Alhough season ticket renewals are crucial to the club's financial position, the facility for fans to pay for them with credit or debit cards has been removed and supporters are instead being asked to pay the club directly. One caveat to this arrangement will be that customers' money will not be protected in the event that the business goes bust. "The club's merchant acquirer, which processes credit and debit card transactions, has advised that it would require extensive security, including standard security to be granted over Ibrox Stadium and an insurance policy at considerable cost to the club, to protect itself against any potential liability arising from passing on monies from season ticket purchases ahead of next season's matches," Rangers explained.

I'm not often lost for words but this is a staggering state of affairs, no matter who runs that Clumpany they seem determined pander to morons by promising the world (with nothing to back it up) simply because it is their right, they are after all "The People". Anyone foolish enough to give these ****ing chancers a brass farthing deserves everything they get.

Rangers came at me back in October tying to sell us a deal to be their official betting partner, £60k for stadium WiFi advertising and for the LED boards every 3 months... in Div 2 of Scotland. I knew that if they were coming to us mid-season they were obviously struggling. Anyway we did the cost benefit analysis and told them to gtf - can't believe they invested £2m in that <laugh>
