<applause> First poster to make the point. De Vries had a good game and kept the score down.

That said, he was a right idiot to say what he did when he left. Will definitely get the bird next week from the crowd as a result.

Yep, dropped a clanger leaving us. But we've moved on with Vorm and what a find he's been.

It would tip the balance of expectation in a big way for me & I'm already leaning to the good Lol !. Who could have even imagined such an event being possible a year ago ...

Although, I would still like United to win the title, so I hope City lose a few games yet lol.

Now that the long wait is over, and Wolves are relegated, it might let them play with more freedom. The downside to this is that they might very well cause a shock & not lose next Saturday.
I`m not saying that they`ll win, but playing with more abandon frees the shackles a bit. After all, what have they got to lose. On the other hand. they might just capitulate and be rubbish, we`ll see in a few days time.

God forbid but if Vorm was to leave , at a healthy profit for the club , would anyone consider taking De Vries back when the Wolves drop ?

Vorm & deVries are both good shot-stoppers.

Vorm & deVries are both good with their feet and good at distribution.

Vorm & deVries are both poor at commanding their box.

Is there much difference between them?

no , i wouldn 't take him back, i think he was one of the "difficult decisions " that buck talked about, we would have struggled with him in the team IMO, nice guy and great servent and he doesnt have to worry about taking a pay cut either, so he can be happy counting his money at a level he can thrive at.

    PS

Ive said this many times, that the reason doris was bought by Wolves was not as a goalkeeper to pressure hennesey but just to weaken our team and make certain relegation fodder out of us, i truely beilelve he was bought to weaken us and make one of those relegation places harder to fill, some say its a mad one but when you think of the money involved its peanuts!! DDV gets to play number2 on more money per week and Swans struggle to impliment their passing game without a passing goalkeeper, by signing our"sweeper" Wolves thought it would de rail us, unfortunatly for them we signed the Vorminator !! <laugh>

If Vorm left in the summer , I wouldn't hesitate trying to bring De Vries back . We needed a great stopper at times this season & we''ll need one next season again . Not the greatest around the box but I don't think many can say he's not great at stopping almost impossible shots !

So Wolves take on a player to destabilise the Swans? Let me think about that.....<laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Nothing to do with being one of the best shot stoppers in the Championship and the fact he was on a free? Hmm?

Aswan, you have a point but Vorm is more agile and is a specialist at saving pens. Dorus certainly is not.
