Thats rubbish. He got stuck in and won plenty. He was a nasty little ****er who looked after himself and wouldnt come off worse. Like Dennis Wise. Snoddrs, it was good to see, is like that. I'm agreeing with Bummers again!!!
Clark's been mainly playing in midfield for a while now. No idea what's going on with Lenihan, he seems to have disappeared.
I saw Lenihan at the ressies game t'other night. He was sat a few rows behind Bruce. Did his knee in ages ago i think.Proper pikey looking ****er. His mate he was sat with was one of the dodgyist ****ers I've seen in a long time.
He picked up that knee injury on loan at Blackpool and came back for treatment on Nov 25th 2014, it must have been a major injury.
He played in pre season, I doubt it's the same injury. He definitely played against Ferriby and also played against Al Ain. So either he was being rested for the first team or he's picked up another injury.
The injury he picked up at Blackpool put him out for four months and I've found an Irish article from February quoting Bruce saying he was about to resume training and he wanted him to go out on loan. I think it must have taken longer than expected, as he tweeted this in July... Brian Lenihan @brian_lenihan12 Jul 17 First game in nearly 9 months #longroad #bambieonice
Bruce is never gonna just give these players a chance out of nowhere. It's not even worth suggesting. I forgot Clark was originally a full back.
