What the **** are we doing exactly ! We need players in departments , Buttner time will tell , lack of ambition cost us dearly in 2004 , let's hope we are not going to try to stay up on the cheap .

Pray tell you are being ironic , your spelling is crap , I am on an I phone typing , pointing out spelling errors is for goblins and fat people who can not play football.....
we certainly lack ambition, i mean going in for ramirez, wtf this calibre of player will not keep us up
...and for those who wish others had completed their education sufficiently well to be able to spell reasonably correctly.
As it happens, I agree with your initial post on suggesting that Saints shouldn't gamble with their PL future by trying to survive the current season on the cheap. I agree that we need stronger or backup players in certain positions [departments, for those that didn't understand]. Yes indeed, the lack of signing Buttner may come back to haunt us. In fact, I seriously believe that someone from ManU got to Buttner's agent to suggest that he didn't sign for Southampton, but to let a little time pass, for the smoke to clear, and they would come in for him. Back to your first point - while I agree that Saints shouldn't gamble with their PL future, I don't believe they will.
