I know a few Rovers fans and they are all unanimous that he is a class act, probably the one bright spark in their team. Plus he fits in with our transfer policy, although I reckon n Rovers will hold out for quite a bit of cash.

I'd prefer to see Santon come into the Cup Squad...I like my players to earn their place in the team and its unfair to break up the back 4 which is STILL joint best defense in the league...26th October for his full debut, get a better look at him and decide from there!

Not sure they'll have any say, his deal runs out this season.

    This.

People love to slate Simpson but Bale did bugger all yesterday.

He was OK but lacked that ''spark'' because he was playing in his unfavored position which is LW/LM. but once he cut inside and started impacting the game in the centre he looked much more at home and comfortable.<ok>

Hmmm, didn't think he was all that good myself. Looked like a tart, acted like a tart and played like a tart.

    Just my opinion.

Didnt look at his best (maybe the international break?) but showed little flashes of his brilliance.

Modric being forced wide to accommodate Livermore/VDV was criminal. Even though I thought Livermore looked canny and was better than the Tioted Parker. Modric had no influence until 2nd half when he started to drift infield. I was over the moon to see their most influential player and person who dictates their play out on the wing! Think Santon will be one of the best right full backs in world football in a few years time. Just my opinion and I'm sure I'll be termed deluded by some. I think in him and Krul we have two future world class stars. Sounds like Santon is having a little trouble settling but that is only natural. Playing will help and avoiding injury.

I thought that was Raylor who was coming across to cover.

As for Santon, he didn't have much time to impress, if you notices he was the only one back when we had chances at the end!!

Yeh Hoillett is a quality player, so composed and playing with a largely poor team at this moment although this could soon change. Hes the one good think about Blackburn this season.
