    Swansea fail with Stockdale bid

    £2 million? Seriously, Swansea. £2 million?

    I hop the club realise he's worth 3 times that, at a minimum. If anyone from the club is reading this... don't sell him!

    Quite right, Surly. The good news is that the bid was turned down, and Jol has been talking about a loan rather than a sale. I think the club knows Stockdale's worth.

    Stockdale will be allowed to depart on loan as Martin Jol has already recruited a back-up shot-stopper in the shape of Hungarian keeper Csaba Somogyi. The 26-year-old's move on a free transfer from Budapest outfit Rakospalotai EAC was confirmed by Segers after Saturday's friendly against AFC Wimbledon.
