Alex Neil asked him to come in a day early to discuss plans for the season, but instead it was Speakman there who said he was being let go because Neil didn’t connect with him.

This I don't even know ow if Preece was good enough or a loss but it's a ****s trick to have someone sacked cause you don't get on with them, then **** off to a different job a matter of weeks later!
